Styled For The Stocky

At French’d Co, we believe every dog deserves clothing that fits just right, especially the short, broad-chested, chunky little charmers we all adore. Our story began with one very special French Bulldog: Reggie.

Reggie wasn’t just adopted, he was rescued, rehabilitated, and welcomed into our family with every ounce of love we had. And like many Frenchie parents quickly learn… we could find him treats, toys, and accessories, but clothing? That was another story.

 

                                       

 

Where it all started

If you own a Frenchie, you know the drill:

A size up is too long.

A size down is too tight on the chest.

“Stretch fit” isn’t stretchy enough for those glorious Frenchie barrel chests.

And don’t even get us started on trying to wrestle a wriggly, snorting potato into a jumper that wasn’t designed for their shape.

Reggie would do the classic Frenchie “statue sit,” refusing to move because his outfit pinched, pulled, or rode up. Cue the side-eye, the huffs, and the dramatic flop - the full Frenchie meltdown.

We realised something: clothes simply weren’t engineered for stocky breeds.
So… we engineered them.
